Nickolai, Alexei, Jordi, Noah, or Finley!?

I posted a thread yesterday with around 15 names on it asking for suggestions and got great feedback! From here, I’d like to ask for more help! Please make any alterations to the names and offer any opinions to aide in elimination!

After these suggestions, my top 5 are:
[name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] “[name_m]Kole[/name_m]” [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]Lockwood[/name_m]-Another possible nickname mentioned was “[name_u]Niko[/name_u].” I’d like to know which is preferred!
[name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_m]Lockwood[/name_m]- I like this name as is, but I’m open to a new middle name if there are any other options!
[name_m]Jordy[/name_m] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_m]Lockwood[/name_m]-I’ve been told this first name is quite girlish, but I altered the spelling and middle name (previously [name_m]Jordi[/name_m] [name_u]Kendall[/name_u]). Does it still read female?
[name_m]Alexei[/name_m] [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] [name_m]Lockwood[/name_m]-I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] THIS NAME! I would just like if there were a nickname for it that isn’t “[name_u]Alex[/name_u]” (overused, in my opinion). Please help!
[name_u]Finley[/name_u] “[name_u]Finn[/name_u]” [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Lockwood[/name_m]-On this one, I’m open to any alteration with middle and/or nicknames.

Any further help from here would be greatly appreciated!(:

Two of my favorite names are [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] and [name_m]Alexei[/name_m]! So those are my choices. I suggested [name_u]Niko[/name_u] and [name_m]Kole[/name_m] as nicknames yesterday for [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] (I would spell it [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] (russian) or [name_m]Nicolai[/name_m] (Scandiavian?) not [name_m]Nickolai[/name_m]). As for [name_m]Alexei[/name_m], I also don’t don;t care for [name_u]Alex[/name_u], so plan to call him [name_u]Lex[/name_u].

My favorite is [name_u]Finley[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Lockwood[/name_m], followed by [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_m]Lockwood[/name_m]. Although I would go with [name_u]Finlay[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Lockwood[/name_m] or [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Lockwood[/name_m].

My favourite is [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]Lockwood[/name_m] because I absolutely love [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m]! I definitely prefer [name_u]Niko[/name_u] out of the two nicknames, and [name_u]Kai[/name_u] is another one I really like.
Second would be [name_m]Alexei[/name_m] [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] [name_m]Lockwood[/name_m], because again, I’m really starting to like [name_m]Alexei[/name_m], but I do think [name_u]Alex[/name_u] would be the most likely nickname (and I agree it’s very tired now). Maybe [name_u]Lex[/name_u], [name_m]Al[/name_m], [name_u]Allie[/name_u]? I’m not sure I like any of them, but they’re all I can think of. There’s no nickname trouble with [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] though ;).

My favourite is [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m], nn [name_u]Niko[/name_u]. [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] (or [name_m]Nicolai[/name_m]) is a lovely, fun, exotic twist on a classic, and the [name_u]Niko[/name_u]/[name_u]Nico[/name_u] nn is really punchy and strong. [name_f]IMO[/name_f] [name_m]Kole[/name_m] feels like a totally different style to both [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] and [name_u]Luca[/name_u], especially with the Kardashian-esque K. I really like [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] in the middle to ground the name a little.

Second favourite is [name_m]Alexei[/name_m] [name_u]Dustin[/name_u], and I agree that [name_u]Lex[/name_u] would be a great nn option if you find [name_u]Alex[/name_u] too mainstream.

I like [name_u]Noah[/name_u] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u] too but not [name_u]Reese[/name_u] or [name_u]Finley[/name_u]. I really dislike [name_m]Jordy[/name_m] however you spell it, sorry!

[name_u]Finley[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] is my favourite.

[name_m]Alexei[/name_m] [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] [name_m]Lockwood[/name_m] gets my vote!! I’m a big Russian history nerd so naturally it appeals to me. Also it flows really ridiculously well with [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] [name_m]Lockwood[/name_m]. [name_f]Alyosha[/name_f] is a very popular Russian nickname for [name_m]Alexei[/name_m]. However I’m sure you could make it that he is called [name_m]Alexei[/name_m] predominantly.

I also vote for [name_m]Alexei[/name_m] [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] [name_m]Lockwood[/name_m]!

I went to undergrad with an [name_m]Alexei[/name_m] whose nickname was “[name_u]Sasha[/name_u].” I know that tends to rub a lot of Americans the wrong way as a boy’s nickname, but it really worked for him. It was somehow very exotic and masculine.
