What is a good first name to fit with brothers name?
So far these are our options
Luke Nicolas
Troy Nicolas
Joaquin Nicolas
Israel Nicolas
Or…. Should Nicolas be a first name? so torn… it would be nice to have your options and maybe a name that sounds good in English and Spanish like Roman does.
[name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m] and [name_m]Joaquin[/name_m] [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m] are both very handsome choices! Those are my favorites from your list.
I think I would like the flow of [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m] a tiny bit more than [name_m]Luke[/name_m] but if you would only be calling him [name_m]Luke[/name_m] than I’d just stick with that.
[name_u]Israel[/name_u] [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m] and [name_u]Troy[/name_u] [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m] are speaking to me today - I prefer [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m] as a middle
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite would be [name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m] or [name_u]Luka[/name_u] [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m].
The only one I wouldn’t pick would be [name_u]Troy[/name_u] and [name_u]Troy[/name_u] and [name_m]Roman[/name_m] together scream Trojon war to me ( though I think the Trojan war was technically Greeks)
[name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m], particularly if the surname is three syllables or longer. Otherwise you could use [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m] as the first name. Think it would be often spelled the [name_f]English[/name_f] way with an H in English-speaking countries. You would be saying: “Nicolas spelled without the h…” a fair bit. It’s a great name. Also love [name_m]Joaquin[/name_m], though potentially both pronunciation and spelling corrections with it depending where you live.
