This is motivated by finding out that an old school classmate who’s [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] on her birth certificate, but who was [name_u]Nikki[/name_u] in our school is still [name_u]Nikki[/name_u] in her middle aged professional.
So how many of you would put [name_u]Nikki[/name_u] on the birth certificate over [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] or vice versa?
Never. I know a lot of Nikkis, but they’re all [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] or [name_u]Nicola[/name_u] on the birth certificate. Two of my friends go by [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] in their professional lives.
I know a [name_u]Nikki[/name_u]-[name_u]Leigh[/name_u], as far as I’m concerned thats how it is on her birth certificate
I know a lot of people who are both, but I do prefer [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] overall and therefore would use that.
