What are your thoughts on this name? Too dated? What do you think of how it sounds? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like it? Thanks!
(I ask because I never gave this name much thought but this year I had a student named [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] so it was on my radar more!)

I think it’s beautiful. It is a little dated but not so much.
A newer twist might be [name_f]Nicolette[/name_f]
There was a girl in my class called [name_u]Nikki[/name_u]-[name_f]Claire[/name_f] and I always thought that was really pretty
I like it! I recently met a toddler named [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] and I thought it was sweet!
I do find it pretty dated. Sorry. 
[name_f]Nicolette[/name_f] or [name_u]Nicola[/name_u] would be a fresher twist.
I know a few [name_f]Nicole[/name_f]’s who are teenagers so it doesn’t feel too dated, I had about 3-4 [name_m]Nicoles[/name_m] in my class all throughout high school (I graduated 2019). I think it works! [name_f]Nikkie[/name_f], [name_u]Nick[/name_u], or [name_f]Nix[/name_f] are really cute nn for it!

I truly have mixed feelings on this name. It was the girl who bullied me through elementary school so I’ve always disliked it because of that. However, it’s also the name of my younger sister’s good friend who is so sweet. I also find it dated though and I’m not a fan of the sound.
I really like it! I think it’s a great name that I would like to see more. I don’t find it too dated- I only know two [name_m]Nicoles[/name_m]- one is 17 and the other is 5.

Dated but nice. But I would probably pick a lot of names ahead of [name_f]Nicole[/name_f]. Might prefer it as a mn.
I like Nicole. Its feminine but not frilly, and classy without feeling pompous. It doesnt particularly wow me, but is nice enough. If I heard it on a baby I would think “that’s sweet”. It doesnt sound dated to me (UK).
Contrary to elanorelle, to me Nicola is much more dated, as I know several Nicola’s who are in their 40s or 50s, and none outside that. I do however love the suggestion of Nicolette.
