Night Themed Names

I am trying to make a new themed UC based around names with night or night-related meanings, and I would love to have an even number of boys and girls combos. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be anywhere near as many night names for boys.

I currently have Leo, Orion, Apollo, Sirius, Orpheus, Mars, Saturn, Astrophel and Jupiter. If you know any more night names for boys would you be able to suggest some for me please?

Other names that may work for you… I don’t remember if they are on my list.

  • Altair → the 11th brightest star in the sky
  • Badar → full moon
  • Castor → name of one of the twins that make up the constellation Gemini
  • Chand → the moon; shining moon
  • Chandar → the moon
  • Charon → the largest of Pluto’s moons
  • Hasperus, Hasperos → personification of the evening star; Venus
  • Hoku → star
  • Izar → star
  • Janus → 5th moon in distance from Saturn
  • Koray → ember moon
  • Naos → a star found in the Argo Navis constellation
  • Noctis → night
  • Pluto → a dwarf planet that was downgraded from planet → still considered a planet by the observatory (and state) that discovered it
  • Pollux → the second of the twins that make up the Gemini constellation
  • Rigel → brightest star in the Orion constellation
  • Sabik → a star in Ophiuchus, a large constellation straddling the celestial equator

Not positive how wearable it is, but Erebus was the god of darkness and consort to [name_u]Nyx[/name_u] (goddess of night).
