Hey berries!
[name_u]Niko[/name_u] is one of the few names that both my SO and I love. We have very different taste in names, so it’s hard to find names we both like. Which combo do you like the most? Last name is Gonzalez. Not pregnant btw just thinking about combos.
[name_u]Niko[/name_u] [name_m]Cristiano[/name_m]- [name_m]Cristiano[/name_m] after SO, [name_m]Cristian[/name_m].
Concerns- is [name_u]Niko[/name_u] okay for his full name or should we do a traditional longer first name?
[name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m]- [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m] in honor of my late uncle.
Concerns- Is it werid to use [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] when we both don’t have any Russian heritage? My SO is Mexican and I’m Caucasian. Or what other names can lead to the nickname [name_u]Niko[/name_u]? besides the obvious [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m].
I really like [name_u]Niko[/name_u] [name_m]Cristiano[/name_m], but prefer the [name_u]Nico[/name_u] spelling. (Unless you’re pronouncing it a different way?) [name_u]Nico[/name_u] just looks less like a nickname to me.
I don’t think it’s weird to use [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] if you don’t have a Russian background, but that may be because I love [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] :). If it really bugs you, then I think [name_u]Niko[/name_u] is still great (I love the spelling too) and not too much of a nickname. It also makes more sense than using [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] just to get [name_u]Niko[/name_u]. Both combos work well along with your surname, though maybe [name_u]Niko[/name_u] [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m] could work too? [name_f]Hope[/name_f] that helped and good luck :)!
