What do you think of [name]Nina[/name]? I’m not necessarily wanting to use it ([name]WAY[/name] to close to my own name, and is a very good friend’s name), but I do like it.
I love it, but I love most names ending in an “ina” sound. [name]Sabrina[/name], [name]Alina[/name], [name]Catalina[/name] for example. I also like [name]Alena[/name],
I think it’s perfect. Short/cute/familiar, but not too popular or too cutesy. I can picture it on really any type of woman/girl in any age group. I can picture a punk rocker or a lawyer named [name]Nina[/name].
I was planning on naming my daughter this and had it ‘stolen’ from me. While trying to get over the loss of the name I tried really hard to find fault in it and the only think I could think of was that it does have kind of a shrill sound and the idea of Ni-ni as a pet name is awful sounding to me.
My only word of caution is that in the Southern US [name]Nina[/name] is often pronounced Nine-uh.
I really, really, like [name]Nina[/name]. Its so classy and sophisticated.
[name]Nina[/name]'s a great name! Short, spunky, sweet but still classy. It’s one of those names people are familiar with, but it’s not too common.
It can stand on its own without a nn and the spelling is very easy.
[name]Nina[/name]'s also used in many countries.
I love it!
I’ve long liked the name [name]Nina[/name] [name]Emily[/name].
I really like it!
I really like the name [name]Nina[/name]!
I’m from the coastal South originally and I say “Nee-na.” I love this name–really grown on me over the years.
