So pretty! I smile when I see it on paper. It reminds me of an amazing character from the YA novel Six of Crows, who is so charming, charismatic, flirty, bold, but also caring and loyal. It works in many languages and is timeless, in my opinion.

Beautiful. Has very positive connotations for my specifically and is very underrated and underused imo. Reminds me of [name_f]Nina[/name_f] [name_u]Simone[/name_u] who I absolutely adore!

The Spanish-speaking part of my brain sees it as “niña”, meaning “girl”, so personally I shy away from it, but I don’t mind seeing it out in the world.

Nina is so sweet! Cozy and familiar but feels fresh and underused.

^^This was my hang-up with it for a long time. But I love it so much in theory, and it sounds different enough from niña when I say it, that I’ve definitely become a fan!

I do prefer the similar Lina though (which I adore!), partially for this reason.

It’s fine, but it’s not my favorite. I can’t really explain why, but maybe because of “neener neener” or something, it’s just not a name I’m super keen on. It must just be the sound, but I recognize that it’s a beloved name :heart:

I think it’s a pretty name :yellow_heart: not overly common but also not weirdly unique! I personaly know 3 Nina’s and they wear it beautifully
