Some background: we have a son already, [name]Dashiell[/name] [name]Henry[/name], whose name we [name]LOVE[/name]. I’m having a very hard time coming up with a good sibset.
Names we have talked about and nixed:
[name]Sawyer[/name]: [name]Love[/name] this name written, don’t like saying it as much. Think it goes ok with [name]Dashiell[/name].
[name]August[/name]/us: I really do like this name, but it just doesn’t seem like the perfect fit. [name]August[/name] is ok with [name]Dashiell[/name], [name]Augustus[/name] feels too fussy when paired with [name]Dashiell[/name].
[name]Archer[/name]: I want to love this name, but I just don’t completely. I also think [name]Dash[/name] and [name]Arch[/name] (not that we would call them this) don’t go well together.
[name]Jasper[/name]: Over this name, although I loved it for a time.
Truett: Still like this one, and love the nn [name]True[/name]. Husband is not sold though. Not sure how it works as a sibset.
[name]Leo[/name]: [name]Love[/name] love love this and think it goes perfectly with [name]Dashiell[/name], but it doesn’t work AT ALL w/ our last name.
[name]Hunter[/name]: Husband’s favorite. It’s [name]MIL[/name]'s maiden name and while I really like that connection, the name is a bit common for me and I just don’t feel totally in love with it. That said, it goes well with [name]Dashiell[/name].
[name]Griffin[/name]: [name]Love[/name] the nn [name]Finn[/name] but don’t like [name]Griffin[/name]. Our last name is one syllable so I’d like a multi-syllable first name. I think both [name]Finn[/name]/[name]Griffin[/name] go really well with [name]Dashiell[/name], but Finneas/[name]Finnegan[/name] sound maybe a bit fussy.
[name]Charlie[/name]: [name]Love[/name] this nn, hate [name]Charles[/name]. Plus it’s very common, which I don’t like. [name]Do[/name] think it goes well with [name]Dashiell[/name].
[name]Hawthorne[/name]: [name]Love[/name] this name, but it feels too fussy paired with [name]Dashiell[/name] and I don’t like the nn [name]Thorne[/name].
I feel like we will NEVER find the right name…would love suggestions if anyone has any!
