What nn would fit for [name_m]Aurelio[/name_m]?
Does [name_m]Leo[/name_m]? make sense or because of the spelling should be [name_m]Lio[/name_m]?

I think it works, but I’d spell it [name_m]Lio[/name_m].
[name_u]Rey[/name_u] or [name_u]Ari[/name_u] perhaps?
[name_m]Lio[/name_m] would probably work best as far as spelling goes. Like katinka, my first two thoughts were [name_u]Ray[/name_u]/[name_u]Rey[/name_u] and Auri/[name_u]Ari[/name_u], [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] and [name_u]Lee[/name_u]/Li are two other options.
[name_f]Roe[/name_f]
[name_u]Rio[/name_u]
[name_m]Ely[/name_m] (like [name_m]Ely[/name_m] Cathedral - works best with the or-[name_f]REE[/name_f]-lee-oh pronunciation)
[name_u]Orrie[/name_u]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]/[name_m]Lio[/name_m] definitely works!
I think [name_u]Rio[/name_u] could work!
[name_m]Lio[/name_m]/[name_m]Leo[/name_m] works nicely. [name_u]Rey[/name_u] is also a really cook nickname.
I think [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is a great nn for [name_m]Aurelio[/name_m]. But don’t be surprised if people think his full name is [name_m]Leonard[/name_m].
Other options…
[name_u]Ari[/name_u]
Aril
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u]
[name_m]Aro[/name_m]
[name_m]Eli[/name_m]
Relo
[name_m]Rolo[/name_m]
[name_m]Rulo[/name_m]
Only reading the title of your post the first nickname that came to mind was [name_u]Rio[/name_u] but [name_m]Lio[/name_m]/[name_m]Leo[/name_m] works too.
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] is lovely and I think you could spell a nickname how ever you like, although [name_m]Lio[/name_m] would make more sense. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the previous suggestion of [name_u]Rio[/name_u].
Suggestions:
[name_m]Al[/name_m]
[name_m]Eli[/name_m]
[name_m]Urie[/name_m]
[name_m]Aurelio[/name_m]:
[name_m]Lio[/name_m]/[name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_u]Rey[/name_u]
[name_u]Rio[/name_u]
[name_u]Ari[/name_u]
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u]
Sorry for any repeats
We are going to name our son [name_m]Aurelio[/name_m] [name_u]Jay[/name_u] and call him [name_u]Eli[/name_u] for short. It was really important to us that our Spanish speaking and our [name_f]English[/name_f] speaking family can have something to call him with ease.
@EllVM0808 congratulations! i love aurelio elio & aure are my fav nns!
[name_m]Lio[/name_m]
