Nn for Canaan

Pregnant with [name_u]Baby[/name_u]#4. We’re considering [name_m]Canaan[/name_m] [name_m]Tiberius[/name_m] to go with [name_m]Thaddeus[/name_m] [name_m]Roman[/name_m], [name_m]Abram[/name_m] [name_m]Augustus[/name_m], and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
The problem is all our kids’ names get shortened all the time, but I do not like the nn [name_m]Cane[/name_m]/[name_m]Cain[/name_m] due to the biblical character.

Any other ideas on nn for [name_m]Canaan[/name_m]? Or should we just call him [name_m]Ty[/name_m] from his MN?

The two that came to mind for me was Cahn, or Caz. I know two people with nn Kaz/Caz and they love their nn’s.
