NN for Lavender

Hello!

What’s your favorite nickname for [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]? I think the name is really cool, but my strange hybrid accent makes it a mouthful to say, so I was wondering if you had any neat suggestions for shortening it. Not planning on using it any time soon, just having fun

What I have so far:
Avvie
Ender
[name_m]Lander[/name_m]
Venda
[name_u]Lane[/name_u]

Wdyt?

Lav(e) (lahv), [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Vena[/name_f], [name_f]Lala[/name_f], her initials (example: [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] nn LJ), [name_f]Vivi[/name_f], [name_f]Ave[/name_f], Aven, [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_u]Van[/name_u], [name_f]Vana[/name_f], [name_f]Andie[/name_f]
From your list I prefer Avvie but all of them are nice!
From mine I like [name_f]Andie[/name_f], [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Vena[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f] and Aven

I love [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]! After rearranging my list, it’s almost in my top 10 now. My favourite nn for it is [name_f]Enna[/name_f], but maybe [name_f]Ava[/name_f], or Dera (dear-uh) could work at a stretch.

[name_f]Lavender[/name_f] is one of our top two for a daughter, our nickname of choice is [name_f]Evvy[/name_f]. It may not be the most direct, but it is the nickname of a book character we really like.

Aw thank you all! I’m in love with [name_f]Andie[/name_f] and [name_f]Enna[/name_f]… and [name_f]Evvy[/name_f] makes so much sense; I hadn’t thought of it before

My favorite is Vendie but I would spell it Vindie.
I think [name_f]Indie[/name_f] could be a nickname for [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] as well.
My next favorite is Avvie. Feels like the new [name_u]Abby[/name_u] to me.

It’s more of a pet name, but if I named a daughter [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] I’d want to call her Lavendula, which is just fun to say — ‘love END yoo la’. For short I’d probably call her [name_f]Lovey[/name_f], Lav (‘laugh’ but with a V) and ’Vender. The contraction Lav’der also sounds like Laughter, which could make for a cute pet name (if it fit her personality, that is).

Edited to add ‘Landry’ and ‘Dree’ (Lavendry?), Leni, Lindy?
