So as you can see by the title I need a nickname for [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] and an extension of the nickname [name_m]Rick[/name_m].
[name_f]Minerva[/name_f]'s nickname should be modern and stylish but not overly girly so nothing like [name_f]Minnie[/name_f].
[name_f]Minerva[/name_f] is a hard worker about 13 years of age, and is one of those people that can switch from being an introvert to an extrovert. She loves reading and music (especially singing) and is seen as a bit of a chic geek (haha I just rhymed - I tend to do that accidentally). She is slim with light olive skin and long dark brown hair and blue and gold eyes (central heterochromia - gold in centre). She likes to wear her hair down with a side part or in a slick high bun or in a messy low side bun.
[name_m]Rick[/name_m] is about 10 years old and is your classic, modern sports crazy little brother. He has same looks as [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] but with longer-than-usual-for-a-boy hair that looks a bit like a burnt crispy lion’s mane. He only has blue eyes, no central heterochromia.
[name_f]Minerva[/name_f]: A modern nickname could be Nerve, but I’m not sure how stylish you would consider it. [name_u]Min[/name_u], [name_m]Erv[/name_m] (usually used for boys), Erva, and [name_f]Merva[/name_f] are other suggestions.
[name_m]Rick[/name_m]: [name_m]Rick[/name_m] is usually short for [name_m]Richard[/name_m] when used as a nickname, but could also be short for other things. [name_m]Cedric[/name_m], [name_m]Frederick[/name_m], [name_m]Eric[/name_m], [name_m]Alaric[/name_m], [name_m]Maverick[/name_m], [name_m]Theodoric[/name_m], [name_m]Eldric[/name_m], or [name_m]Barric[/name_m] are some examples.
Personally, as far as siblings go, I think [name_m]Alaric[/name_m], [name_m]Cedric[/name_m], [name_m]Theodoric[/name_m], and [name_m]Eldric[/name_m] go best with [name_f]Minerva[/name_f]. I hope these suggestions help!

I don’t really know about [name_m]Rick[/name_m]… ([name_m]Frederick[/name_m], maybe, but… just the feeling.) but [name_m]Cedric[/name_m], definitely.
But [name_f]Minerva[/name_f], I have a few options. I’ve been having a girl called [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] in mind, but I ended up making her “disappear” or be a 1-3 times mentioned character. Murder your darlings.
Minn, [name_u]Min[/name_u], [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] (which she will hate but people will call/tease her as), or by her last name is my choice.
