I like the name [name]Mimi[/name], but I’m not sure I would seriously use it as a first name. I love the name [name]Miriam[/name], so I was wondering what you guys thought of the name [name]Miriam[/name] with [name]Mimi[/name] as a nickname.

I don’t like the nickname [name]Mimi[/name] or the name [name]Miriam[/name], but it definitely works.
i know lots of people named [name]Miriam[/name] who go by [name]Mimi[/name], it totally works. Honestly, it could go for just about any M name.
In all honesty, the name [name]Mimi[/name] makes me think of a chubby person.
And I’m not fond of [name]Miriam[/name], though [name]Mimi[/name] as a nickname for [name]Miriam[/name] certainly works.

I think the two M’s in [name]Miriam[/name] make [name]Mimi[/name] work better, but I could see how [name]Mimi[/name] could work with any M name.
I know a girl who goes by [name]Mimi[/name] (pronounced my-my), and her name is [name]Jemima[/name] 
I think it’s a lovely name! Much prettier than [name]Miriam[/name].

It could def work for any M name if you wanted, better if there are two Ms or an Mi.
I’m sorry, I can’t take the name [name]Jemima[/name] seriously … I knew a girl in high school with the name, and she had the unfortunate last name Faget (pronounced fah-zhay, but many mispronounced it as something else), and that’s all I can think of when I hear the name. That, and Aunt [name]Jemima[/name]'s pancake syrup. I don’t find it appealing at all.
I think [name]Miriam[/name] nn [name]Mimi[/name] definitely works. I have a great aunt named [name]Philomena[/name] ([name]Phil[/name]-oh-meena), we call her Aunt [name]Mimi[/name]. She really dislikes her full name so would hate to know I’m suggesting it but hey! might as well throw it out there =)
It makes me think of [name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Philomena[/name] is cute and unique, but I can understand why she’s not a fan.
