I think that Ping is really cute, but a little far fetched. You can call a kid whatever, and it may or may not stick, but either way it’s hard to have the rest of the world call her Ping of it’s not a built in nickname for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f].

I think Ping is super cute! It is definately a childhood nickname though, I can’t imagine a teen(or even a tween) wanting to be called Ping. I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]! Another unusual but cute nickname for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is [name_f]Posie[/name_f]/[name_f]Posey[/name_f]. So cute!
I don’t have an issue with it, since I like [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]/Phiona as a nn for [name_f]Josephina[/name_f]. Ping is cute.
Ping makes me think of Mulan’s male pseudonym in the Disney movie. Since there isn’t actually the “p” sound in [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], I’d say it was a little far out there.
