Nn's for Valentina

I really like the name [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] but hate the inevitable nickbames of [name_u]Val[/name_u] and [name_f]Tina[/name_f].
I know nickbames aren’t always necessary, but I really like the option (I’ve always had one and so do all of my top girls names)
[name_m]Just[/name_m] seeing if anyone has got any creative ideas!
Thanks

I can’t come up with much myself :frowning: I do think Teeny is cute for like a family nick name- think [name_f]Tina[/name_f]/Teeny from the movie Now and Then if you remember it. I always thought her nickname in the movie was super cute.

I can only think of… [name_u]Ali[/name_u]/[name_u]Allie[/name_u] … [name_f]Leni[/name_f] … [name_f]Lena[/name_f] … [name_f]Nina[/name_f]…

[name_f]Valentina[/name_f] is such a pretty name on its own:)

Good luck!

I like the nick name [name_m]Lenni[/name_m]/ [name_m]Lenny[/name_m]/ [name_u]Lennie[/name_u] for [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]

I knew a lady whose nickname was just “V” or did she spell it Vee? I don’t remember. I always thought that was cute. You could also do [name_u]Van[/name_u], [name_f]Vana[/name_f], [name_f]Veena[/name_f]

My friend [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] gets:

[name_u]Val[/name_u], [name_f]Tina[/name_f], Vel, Vellykins and Vool.

Lol.

I’d second [name_m]Lenny[/name_m] though. I love [name_m]Lenny[/name_m] for a girl, though I’d have it short for [name_f]Eleni[/name_f].

I personally love the concept of females with male nn’s. So, [name_f]Leni[/name_f] sounds sweet yet spunky to me. I also like [name_u]Ali[/name_u] though, that would be fine. Or, you could be really simple and just have a nn of V/Vee. [name_f]Nina[/name_f] is also cute. Lot’s of possibilities and I agree that the name itself is beautiful and doesn’t need a nn.

[name_m]Lenny[/name_m] IS cute!

[name_f]Valentina[/name_f] - I am really liking of late.
I know a [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] -who is always [name_f]Valen[/name_f] -and you could add an ‘a’ but that sounds like a complete name to me.
PPs suggestions Of [name_f]Vena[/name_f], [name_f]Vanna[/name_f]; or Vea, Vae.
First I would think do I want the “V” sound in or not? -if we have any control over nnnames.
Without the V many lovely names Of [name_f]Ally[/name_f], [name_f]Lena[/name_f], [name_f]Tia[/name_f], [name_f]Leta[/name_f], [name_f]Nina[/name_f],[name_f]Tilly[/name_f] -I love
or with the V - [name_f]Vali[/name_f], [name_f]Vienne[/name_f], [name_f]Vina[/name_f], [name_f]Via[/name_f] (Vea) [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]
Last week I read of a [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] who is called [name_f]Clio[/name_f]- so I think there are no rules.
Best wishes.

I like [name_f]Nina[/name_f] and [name_f]Vina[/name_f]/[name_f]Veena[/name_f] the best.

I had a childhood friend named [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]. Her mom always called her Lenta, I always thought it was kinda cool.

You could also go for [name_f]Valley[/name_f] if you want a more obscure choice.

I also second [name_f]Valya[/name_f] and [name_f]Nina[/name_f].

[name_f]Lena[/name_f] would be a pretty nickname.

Some others would be:
[name_u]Allie[/name_u]
[name_f]Lana[/name_f]
[name_u]Lonnie[/name_u]
[name_u]Lennie[/name_u]
[name_f]Alena[/name_f]
[name_f]Leni[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivi[/name_f]
[name_f]Nina[/name_f]

My daughter has a V name and we just call her [name_f]Vi[/name_f] (Vee) she has not started calling herself vivi. Very cute

[name_f]Valley[/name_f] is so cute! Out of the box but totally logical.

Changing my faves to [name_f]Valley[/name_f] and [name_f]Nina[/name_f]. (previously [name_f]Nina[/name_f] and [name_f]Vina[/name_f])

I’d opt for [name_f]Ava[/name_f]-[name_f]Valentina[/name_f], and call her [name_f]Ava[/name_f]. I know…entirely different name, but they fit together so beautifully.
