The Empathetic badge needs you to have given 1000 likes (check) and received 500 likes on 500 different posts.
My guess is that quite a few of your likes may be on the same popular posts (eg. in the Teenberries topic) and that’s why the badge hasn’t come through yet.

Yeah, it gets really annoying when badges don’t show up. I’m waiting for Out of [name_u]Love[/name_u] right now, it’s not showing up. Sometimes I don’t get a notification and I just look and see that I have the badge I was missing.
