"no" go?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there! My husband and I fallen in love with the name [name_f]Noemi[/name_f]. I still think it’s beautiful and it feels like it’s my daughter’s name, but last night I said the name and it sounded a little like “No, [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]” (like we were saying “no” to someone named [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]). Thoughts? Am I overthinking this? Nine months pregnant can do that to a person.

I love [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] and I’ve never heard it as ‘no [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]’ before. I think if it’s said fast without a gap in between then no-one will notice. If you both love it, then go for it!

The way I say [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] is like Neigh-oh-me. I think it’s a beautiful name and you guys should go for it. It’s a common enough name that most people will know how to say it and won’t think twice about it. (Not too common, just people know to say it  )
