Dear Berries…just an update: I finally gave in to DH wish to reveal the gender early, rather than wait till birth as we did 1st time. I was really nervous to find out. [name]One[/name] of the reasons we decided to find out early is because we just couldn’t figure out the boys name. And yet, we had a girl name already in mind.
Hooray! It’s. A. Girl!!!
I gave the baker the sealed envelope holding the answer. He baked the inside blue or pink.we cut the cake with family on Mother’s [name]Day[/name]. It was wonderful.
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Marie[/name] is our favorite pick so far. We have one 2yr old baby boy, [name]Christopher[/name].
[name]Christopher[/name] and [name]Caroline[/name]…you like? She’s due [name]July[/name]. I’m so grateful to you all for going round and round with me over boy names. I thank God for completing our little family!
Thank you to the four of you for your feedback! The reason I’ve chosen [name]Marie[/name] as the mn is because it’s my grandmother’s mn, my Mother’s mn and my mn! So, I’d like to include some family meaning in to her name.
I also really like [name]Molly[/name] as a first name but husband doesn’t. I don’t know why, it’s just so cute. Yet, [name]Caroline[/name] is a name I’ve always loved since I was younger and seems to be one of those names that sounds sweet on a little girl and sophisticated on an older woman.
[name]Do[/name] you think it’s okay to have both siblings with a three syllable name? [name]Just[/name] hope it doesn’t sound like too much of a mouthful.
[name]Caroline[/name] is a wonderful name.
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Marie[/name] is, in my opinion, much better than [name]Molly[/name] [name]Marie[/name], and it goes nicely with [name]Christopher[/name].
Thank you all so much! I definitely agree. [name]Caroline[/name] & [name]Christopher[/name] are lovely, timeless and are names i think will mature well. [name]Will[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] sound sweet as a little girl? Yes. [name]Will[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] appear professional on a resume? Yes. [name]Will[/name] most people pronounce and spell her name correctly? (I know the difference between [name]Carolyn[/name] and line and hopefully will be equally astute also.) Yes. Can she wear it well as an 82 year old woman? Yes.
I think we’ve made our choice and I’m happy…so happy! It’s been helpful to have your feedback. Naming another human being is never easy… But, I think once both partners are in agreement and it’s the only name you think about, you just know. [name]Happy[/name] naming!
I think [name]Caroline[/name] goes very well with [name]Christopher[/name]. I agree with you in that I think [name]Caroline[/name] is very cute for a little girl, yet, ‘grown up’ enough for a “professional” (Dr. [name]Caroline[/name] XXXXXX or [name]Caroline[/name] XXXXXX, Attorney at [name]Law[/name])
Congratulations. And what a neat way to find out your babies gender - and doing it on Mother’s [name]Day[/name] was a nice added bonus. You will have a sweet story to tell your daughter.
I think [name]Christopher[/name] and [name]Caroline[/name] go brilliantly together. They tie together so nice as a sibling set. Timeless classics beginning with the same letter and having the same number of syllables but sounding very different. [name]Both[/name] have nice nicknames if you use them ([name]Chris[/name] and [name]Carrie[/name]).
I also like to consider what I might use for another sibling is more children. You could continue the C pattern with names, the timeless classic pattern, or the three syllable pattern or any combination of them.
