Desperate to find a name for my baby due any day now.
I have a son named [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] and a daughter named [name_f]Emily[/name_f].
We are team green and do not have a boy name picked. We’d like to avoid another E name. We like classic old fashioned names and "none of the new names like [name_m]Liam[/name_m], [name_m]Soren[/name_m], [name_u]Aspen[/name_u], etc. " according to DH. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though elliott falls under that [name_f]IMO[/name_f] lol.
Please give me suggestions, first and middle. I like [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] the best so far but he isn’t sure. I’m having a hard time finding something that fits good with the siblings names.
I would just focus on the first name for now as it is the most important, and once it is chosen it is easier to move ahead to the middle choice. [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_f]Emily[/name_f], and…
Thank you all so much for the suggestions, I really do appreciate it!
I like many of them but they have been vetoed by DH, unfortunately. Like: [name_m]Simon[/name_m], [name_u]August[/name_u], [name_m]Archer[/name_m], [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Julian[/name_m], [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. I especially love the last 4 names listed but he just doesn’t. Starting to really stress out about it because he has also vetoed [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] which was definitely one of my favorites. With him not looking hard for something he loves and being 2 days over due, I’m losing my sanity, lol.
Wish me luck, baby’s measuring big and my instinct says 95% boy! We shall see.
[name_m]Don[/name_m]’t feel pressured to make a decision before you are certain. I believe you can leave the hospital and decide in the weeks following the birth.
But now DH is insistent on [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. It’s the only one he’s mentioned that I might like. [name_m]How[/name_m] does it sound with the siblings? Any middle name suggestions?
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name. [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is a classic. The first and middle sound great together. They have great flow and the name sounds very approachable, yet distinguished. Best of luck with your new little bundle of joy…
