I have a 3 year old son, [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_m]Napoleon[/name_m], who goes by [name_m]Gabe[/name_m]. We welcomed his new baby brother into the world 3 days ago. The gender was left as a surprise and I didn’t have any boy names.
Need some help, opinions, advice!
The Short List:
[name_u]Elias[/name_u]
[name_m]Beau[/name_m]
[name_m]Xander[/name_m]
What goes well with big brother [name_m]Gabe[/name_m]?
Last name is [name_m]French[/name_m]: Guenette
Where the Gue is pronounced soft, as to rhyme with ‘que’ from [name_m]French[/name_m] question 'Est-ce que".
I think [name_u]Elias[/name_u] goes best with [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], it has the same strong but at the same time soft sound. [name_m]Gabe[/name_m] and [name_m]Eli[/name_m] would be great for brothers!
[name_m]Beau[/name_m] is one of my all time favorite names but I think [name_u]Elias[/name_u] fits the best with [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]. It’s also a great name. [name_m]Gabe[/name_m] & [name_m]Eli[/name_m]! sounds like a great pair.
[name_u]Elias[/name_u] is an awesome sib set with [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] they are both strong Biblical boys names they are similar in style so they are a strong when paired together. Congrats on your baby boy!
Yup, another vote for [name_u]Elias[/name_u]! [name_u]Love[/name_u] the repetition of 3 syllables, plus a longer form for adulthood.
[name_m]Beau[/name_m] is also a fave of mine, but seems a bit nicknamey next to [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]. Beaumount and [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m].
Same with [name_m]Xander[/name_m]. It could stand on its own, but not next to [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]. [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] much better.
[name_f]My[/name_f] vote goes for [name_u]Elias[/name_u] as well. I think it’s a great name and it goes perfectly with [name_m]Gabe[/name_m]. Good luck!
Definitely [name_u]Elias[/name_u]! I adore [name_m]Beau[/name_m], but [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] and [name_u]Elias[/name_u], as well as [name_m]Gabe[/name_m] and [name_m]Eli[/name_m], are wonderful together. I love the 3-syllable repetition. Plus [name_m]Beau[/name_m] Guenette instantly makes me think of baguette (sorry). Maybe that’s cause I just got back from [name_f]France[/name_f], I don’t know.
I would say [name_m]Beau[/name_m] or [name_u]Elias[/name_u], [name_u]Elias[/name_u] is great and [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] is similar… [name_m]Gabe[/name_m] & [name_m]Beau[/name_m] however are similar and I also love [name_m]Beau[/name_m] [name_m]Beau[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] ? Congrats on baby
Lots of great suggestions! Expanding [name_m]Beau[/name_m] or [name_m]Xander[/name_m] would be better.
[name_m]Beau[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] is a great combo though. (Suggested by dinosaursroar.)
You probably have a lot to think about already, but if you want some suggestions, these are similar:
[name_m]Eleazar[/name_m]
[name_m]Silas[/name_m]
[name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] - [name_m]Cy[/name_m]?
[name_m]Caius[/name_m] - [name_u]Cai[/name_u]?
[name_m]Moe[/name_m]? short for [name_m]Moses[/name_m]?
[name_m]Bowen[/name_m] - nn [name_u]Bo[/name_u]
[name_m]Boone[/name_m]
[name_m]Xavier[/name_m]
Congratulations!
