I’m still struggling with [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and [name_u]Noa[/name_u]. I’m thinking of naming her [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and we can nickname her [name_u]Noa[/name_u], but my husband thinks that’s a stretch. I just want her to have flexibility in case she doesn’t like having a popular boy (sounding) name.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_u]Noa[/name_u] is too much of a stretch as a nn for [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]?

I think [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] “[name_u]Noa[/name_u]” is a bit of a stretch if you’re planning on her using [name_u]Noa[/name_u] in daily life (at school, etc). However, if you’ll mostly call her [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and occasionally she gets called [name_u]Noa[/name_u], I think it’s totally fine!
I think many people will think it’s totally fine, though! I’m just a pretty “direct” nicknamer myself.

I think it works well, I can totally see it. Maybe a A middle name could please your husband? [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Amalia[/name_f], or [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Ava[/name_f] are some possibilities I thought of.

For home use though. I think it might get confusing at school and stuff.
