Noa Ryleigh or Noa Reese?

I thought we had our baby name chosen, but I had another thought.

We had settled on Noa Ryleigh.

The other day I was thinking about giving her my husband’s name as a middle one. His name is Reece Hugo. Our son is named Connor Hugo after him (and his grandfather) But I am not sure if it would be too much? Even though I think I like it more.

Which name would you choose?

Noa Ryleigh
Noa Reese

I certainly like [name_u]Reese[/name_u] more, myself! It’s a cool combo with [name_u]Noa[/name_u], but it’s also just a lovely sound and name besides. :star:

I’d say allow the choices to sit awhile…and absolutely go with the are you feel you “should,” but the one that speaks to you—that you love!

I do love [name_u]Reese[/name_u] but [name_u]Noa[/name_u] [name_f]Ryleigh[/name_f] flows best to me. I guess it would be worth considering what you want from her name:

  • an honour (Reese)
  • a connection to her brother’s name (Reese)
  • a name of her own (Ryleigh)
  • something that flows well (Ryleigh)
  • a unique spelling (Ryleigh)
