Noah or Luca for a girl

I’m really liking these names for a girl.
In our country, they’re typical boys names that are common, but are very uncommon for girls.

Spelling alternatives could be
[name_u]Noa[/name_u]
Lukka
[name_m]Lukah[/name_m]
Lewkah

I love both, but especially [name_u]Luca[/name_u] for a girl. It always sounded more like a feminine name to me because of the -a ending, and then when I found out that in other countries it’s seen more as a unisex or even a predominantly female name, I added it to my girl name list instantly.

[name_u]Luca[/name_u] has always seemed incredibly feminine to me, so I think it makes sense! [name_u]Noah[/name_u] does still seem a little masculine to me, but not [name_u]Noa[/name_u]. So I think either spelling could technically work.

I love the name [name_u]Noa[/name_u]. It’s a Hebrew girl’s name popular in [name_u]Israel[/name_u]. I know a few little Noas and think it’s just so lovely. [name_u]Luca[/name_u] I personally prefer on a boy although I can see why some people like it for girls considering its -a ending. If I were to use it for a girl i’d spell it [name_u]Luca[/name_u].

I like both but prefer [name_u]Luca[/name_u]! I love [name_f]Lu[/name_f] for a girl.

Both are great, but i think [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is my favorite. I personally wouldn’t go with any of the other alternative spellings for [name_u]Luca[/name_u] except for [name_u]Luka[/name_u].

I love both! I prefer [name_u]Noah[/name_u] spelled [name_u]Noa[/name_u] for a girl but I love [name_u]Luca[/name_u]. I hate to say it but I really do not like those alternative spellings at all, they seem unnecessarily hard, though I don’t mind [name_u]Luca[/name_u] spelled [name_u]Luka[/name_u]

I much, much prefer [name_u]Noa[/name_u] over [name_u]Noah[/name_u] for girls, so I’d say [name_u]Luca[/name_u]

I like [name_u]Noa[/name_u] for a girl (particually as an nn for Noelle). I like [name_u]Luca[/name_u] for a boy. As for spelling’s I feel [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is too boyish & any of the alternate [name_u]Luca[/name_u] spellings look like you’re trying to hard.

I’ve known a female [name_u]Noa[/name_u] and [name_u]Luca[/name_u] is pretty cute too

[name_u]Noa[/name_u]

[name_u]Noa[/name_u] by a mile.

I prefer both for boys, but can see them working for girls, especially if [name_u]Noah[/name_u] was spelt [name_u]Noa[/name_u].

I love [name_u]Noa[/name_u] for a girl and this spelling is a girl name! [name_u]Luca[/name_u] on a girl isn’t my style (I much prefer it on a boy but I adore softer boy names and I think this qualifies) but it is a unisex or feminine name in some countries.

I think [name_u]Noa[/name_u] and [name_u]Luca[/name_u] can be pulled off for a girl. [name_f]My[/name_f] preference would be if [name_u]Luca[/name_u] was a nickname for [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]

[name_u]Noa[/name_u] is nice. [name_u]Or[/name_u] maybe [name_f]Lula[/name_f]

Oof. I really don’t like either for a girl. [name_u]Noa[/name_u] on a girl is perfectly fine. [name_u]Luca[/name_u] unless it’s the Hungarian pronunciation is pretty bad. I’d say [name_u]Noah[/name_u] I guess.

i love the noa spelling for a girl, but out of noah or luca, i’d pick luca!

I vote for [name_u]Noa[/name_u].

Between these options, I strongly prefer [name_u]Noa[/name_u].
