Ok I posted a thread a while ago about not being able to decide between [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Mason[/name] as a first name…well we’ve both agreed that we like [name]Mason[/name] better as a middle name but we still aren’t 100% ready to go with [name]Noah[/name] as a first name. Now our very small boy name list is down to [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Blake[/name]. The middle names we like so far for [name]BOTH[/name] names are:
I definitely prefer [name]Blake[/name], but I’m not really a fan of it with any of those middles. Maybe [name]Blake[/name] [name]Hunter[/name]? But there’s something off about it, it sounds almost descriptive.
I prefer [name]Noah[/name] to [name]Blake[/name] and think [name]Noah[/name] works better with all of the potential middle names. [name]Blake[/name] just didn’t sound right with any of those mns, [name]IMO[/name].
Your first and mn lists are small enough to take to the hospital with you. The baby may “look” more like one name than the other when you meet him for the first time. It’s always best to have a couple of options to choose from just in case the favourite combo doesn’t “fit”.
I have a [name]Noah[/name], so I admit I’m biased, but I think I’d prefer [name]Noah[/name] over [name]Blake[/name] anyway. I like both [name]Noah[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Noah[/name] [name]Cole[/name].
[name]Mischa[/name]'s suggestion about taking both names to the hospital is a good one. Perhaps one will leap out as the obvious choice once you have him in your arms. I remember looking at my newborn son and thinking that my runner-up name wouldn’t suit him at all.

Oh. This is a tough call! I think [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Blake[/name] are 2 really great names. They both have a smart but modern vibe. [name]Noah[/name] seems a bit more strong and classic but [name]Blake[/name] is my personal favorite.
