So I don’t want to use this name but I’ve just come across it watching a TV game show and as we are all here to find names I wanted to share it and just see what everyone thinks? It’s a very unique taste I think kinda similar vibes to [name_m]Knox[/name_m] & [name_u]Maddox[/name_u].
Noax is pronounced like ‘Hoax’. It’s a very interesting name and one I’ve never heard ever before so it ticks the rare box but I’m not sure I like how it sounds.
What do you think?
It’s interesting, for sure! I like that it is a different twist on [name_u]Noah[/name_u], with how popular that is these days. That said, I’m not a fan. It sounds awkward to me and I feel like it would always be confused for something else. I vastly prefer either Noakes/Nokes or Knox/Nox.

Upon reading it, my first thought was, “Like hoax?” I’m not really a fan because of that immediate association.
Noakes might work better to me, could make the hoax association less immediate!

It sounds cool for a charachter in a science fiction novel. But to me it looks like someone wanted to spice the name [name_u]Noah[/name_u] up by adding an X to it.
It does sound cool, but I do think I’d like a different spelling better
I like the sound! But I think I would assume it was No-ax like [name_u]Noah[/name_u]. I like the earlier suggestion of [name_m]Noakes[/name_m].
When I first saw it I thought it was kind of cool, I though it was pronounced NO-axx. I don’t like the -noaks- pronunciation at all and think [name_m]Noakes[/name_m] would be a better spelling for it
I too initially thought it was pronounced no-axe and agree that [name_m]Noakes[/name_m] would be better. Oaks/Oakes would be even better.
Definitely looks like a cleaner brand. I would have said No-ax. I don’t really like the Nokes pronunciation.

It looks like a 2-syllable word, NO-ax.
I thought it was pronounced like “no ax.” I don’t like it.
