I like the name Noel for a boy so much. I know two boys named Noel — one who pronounces his name like ‘bowl’ and one whose sounds like Noelle. I think the ‘bowl’ way grips me more as a masculine name, but I really love that it works all ways. Such a beautiful holiday pick.
As much as I think I’d like to give Noel a longer middle, Noel Charles is coming to mind to me, and I love it. I love honor names in the middle, too, so I can’t resist! I also love the sounds of Noel Theodore, Noel Alastor, Noel Raymond, Noel Asa, and Noel Laurence.
I don’t love Noel Neptune. Sounds like a children’s TV character… perhaps it’s the alliteration (which I often love) of a short name like Noel with a really booming word name like Neptune paired together? I don’t despise it, but it feels a hair gimmicky to me.
I’d name a sibling to Noel something short and snappy! I’m liking… Adah, May, Faye, Maud, and Zelda for sisters; Norm, Hollis, Graeme, Odin, and Kit for brothers.
I like any pair of these three names together for two siblings, but I think Miro stands in the trio with all of them together!
