Our top 2 names for girls have always been [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Willow[/name_f]. I liked [name_f]Willow[/name_f] more and my FI liked [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] more. We settled on [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] as the combo for [name_f]Willow[/name_f] but [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] didn’t have a set middle name really. I have been searching all week for a middle for [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]. I was just reading a post here on nameberry about the name [name_f]Eira[/name_f] which lead me to Eirwen. It was like the world burst into song and everything clicked. [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] Eirwen… [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] wasn’t even my first choice but now it is because of this combo. I have never felt so giddy and excited about a name like I am right now. I don’t even know how to describe it, it just feels “right”. It feels so magical and ethereal and perfect. Although now if we have a daughter I hope she is born in winter because it literally translates into [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] white as snow lol.
What do you think of [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] Eirwen (ayer-wen)? I doubt anything could talk me out of it at this point but I’d still love some feedback. I am just so giddy right now.

As a side note. I just realized 3 out of your 4 favorites have double Ls in them. I do not know if there are just a lot of names with Ls or if I am attracted to Ls but many of my favorites have Ls in them also.

I’ve always loved the name [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] (spelled either way). It’s so soft in a very natural way. Sometimes [name_m]French[/name_m] names sound like they are trying too hard… but not [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]! Eirwen is completly new to me but I can see why you like it! I also like that it’s unique.

It’s great, it’s like a combination of [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] and [name_f]Eira[/name_f]. You had [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] on your list, but of course Noelle[name_f]El[/name_f]owen would sound off. So Eirwen is perfect.
