Nola & Lena: too much or just right?

Currently pregnant with a girl and strongly considering the name [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] “nn” [name_f]Nola[/name_f]. Her older sister is [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] “[name_f]Lena[/name_f].” Last names are our families name (“Broadwell Rabinoff”)

Does anyone have thoughts, pro or con" about the names [name_f]Nola[/name_f] and [name_f]Lena[/name_f] together? Too similar? Sound great?

I think [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] are super cute together! [name_f]Nola[/name_f] and [name_f]Lena[/name_f] are slightly similar but not enough to be a problem, in my opinion.

I think they sound fine together but I personally prefer [name_f]Nola[/name_f] as a stand alone name. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is so classic and lovely for all ages and I find [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] in the same vein as [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] and [name_f]Clover[/name_f]. Albeit a bit more stylish. It just doesn’t carry the same feeling [name_f]IMO[/name_f].

Having said that though siblings don’t have to have the same flow to their names so if you love it then use it.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] them together. Yes, they’re a little similar, but I feel that matters less for nicknames.
