I’m pulling my hair out trying to think of a girls name that goes well with the others… Her middle name has to be [name]Jacqueline[/name]. Please help!
I love [name]Ava[/name], but fear its become too popular
[name]Stella[/name] [name]Jacqueline[/name] sounds great but do you think [name]Stella[/name] is too new/trendy sounding with the other names?
I love [name]Stella[/name]. I don’t think it’s too trendy-sounding…to me it’s more vintage-sounding, similar to [name]Violet[/name]. [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Stella[/name] sound like sisters to me for some reason.
[name]Claire[/name] or [name]Clara[/name] is nice too, but I think I would personally avoid [name]Clare[/name] / [name]Nora[/name] because they would share a same first letter with another sibling. I’m weird like that. [name]Audrey[/name] is not to my taste, but I think it would be ok. Though honestly it strikes me as a little masculine compared to [name]Violet[/name].
[name]Stella[/name] is what immediately came to my mind when I looked at your list (before I even saw the other suggestions). It just seems like a good fit with the other combinations, and it sounds great with [name]Jacqueline[/name]. Good luck & congratulations!
Another girl, how lovely! I actually think [name]Stella[/name] may be too trendy sounding with the others. [name]How[/name] about [name]Sela[/name] or [name]Selah[/name]? Someone else suggest [name]Celia[/name], which is lovely and I think fits – but maybe you don’t want two C names? There’s also [name]Celestia[/name] and [name]Cecily[/name], kind of in the [name]Stella[/name] vein.
I think [name]Phoebe[/name] is a good idea but I’m guessing you don’t love that as no response, also [name]Honor[/name] – you seem to like somewhat offbeat but not bizarre two-syllable names. To me [name]Ava[/name] and many of the other suffer from the same problem as [name]Stella[/name].
Thank you for all the suggestions! Here are my thoughts on some of the names
[name]Pheobe[/name] - I associate the name with [name]Pheobe[/name] from Friends and that crazy character is all I can think of!
[name]Honor[/name] - our last name ends in “er” and I think it sounds strange.
[name]Ava[/name] - too popular
[name]Louisa[/name] - our dogs name is [name]Lucy[/name], which I think is too close
[name]Mia[/name], [name]Lydia[/name], [name]Georgia[/name], [name]Amelia[/name] - friends have used them.
[name]Lila[/name] - I’ve always love this name but feel its not strong enough
[name]Pam[/name] - you suggested some beautiful names but most are too many syllables for my taste. I love [name]Camille[/name] though… just not sure about using another “C” name with [name]Caleb[/name]…
Anyways, [name]Stella[/name] and [name]Camille[/name] are my favorites from the suggestions, and I still love [name]Nora[/name] but my husband hates it!
I agree that [name]Ava[/name] is too popular…don’t do it! [name]Stella[/name] seems to be getting trendy…and I can’t get over hearing in my head [name]Sylvester[/name] Stallone yell “[name]Stella[/name]!” in the movie [name]Rocky[/name] ewww! I just don’t see the appeal personally. [name]Nora[/name] is ok…[name]Stella[/name] and [name]Nora[/name] to me don’t sound as beautiful as the name [name]Violet[/name].
I love the names you’ve chosen for your other children, they go together so nicely. I had fun thinking about your question. I looked for a name with a different initial than the others, two syllables and same style (I think). Here’s what I came up with…sorry if there’s some repeats from other posts
I really like [name]Elise[/name] and [name]Daphne[/name]! both dad and I are “D” names, so [name]Daphne[/name] is probably out… I can see the other kids saying “shes the youngest AND has the same letter as mom a dad NO FAIIIRRRRRR” lol
[name]Elise[/name] [name]Jacqueline[/name] - sounds lovely and goes very well with the other names!
[name]Hannah[/name] - association with [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Montana[/name] kills it for me, though a beautiful name.
[name]Sophie[/name] - I’ve always loved this name, a definite contender.
[name]Keara[/name] - I prefer [name]Keira[/name], but husband isnt crazy about it.
I am loving [name]Sophie[/name], [name]Norah[/name], and [name]Claire[/name] from your list, in that order
I don’t know if you are still open to suggestions, but [name]Anna[/name] [name]Jacqueline[/name] (or [name]Anne[/name] [name]Jacqueline[/name]), [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Jacqueline[/name] (as an alternative to [name]Elise[/name]) and [name]Sylvie[/name] [name]Jacqueline[/name] also spring to mind.
I think from that lovely list that [name]Elise[/name] has everything you want in a name. It goes well with the sib-set, is not overused and even though [name]Claire[/name] is probably my second choice because it is less trendy than some of the others, it avoids the “2nd C name” issue. It’s not a big deal but I am one of those people that for some gosh darn reason I don’t like repeating initials. Aside from my tick, it’s not a big deal, [name]Claire[/name] has a different sound than [name]Caleb[/name] and also I would love to meet sisters named [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Violet[/name].
[name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name] are all become popular quickly and are related to mega-name trends.
I [name]ADORE[/name] [name]Nora[/name] but I feel it’s too close to [name]Nolan[/name].
