I need some opinions. We are about to have our second boy. And can’t decide on a name.
My husband loves the name [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], but I think it’s becoming too popular and I just don’t love it for some reason. So the other name we can agree on is [name_m]Louden[/name_m].
Or oldest sons name is [name_m]Boden[/name_m]. Our last name is a crazy [name_m]German[/name_m] name starting with an O.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] we go with [name_m]Louden[/name_m] or [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]???
I really like [name_m]Louden[/name_m]. It’s unique without being too out there, and sounds very handsome. I also really like [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] on your list. Another suggestion that [name_m]Louden[/name_m] reminds me of is [name_m]Lawson[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]. I do not think it is getting super popular. I have never known or met a [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]. I only have heard of a few baseball players with the name. I adore [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] and [name_u]Rhys[/name_u].
My first impression of [name_m]Louden[/name_m] was really negative because all I saw in the name was “loud”; but when I said it out loud (no pun intended… ) I can see why you like it but I wish there were an alternative spelling. Unfortunately, I think both [name_m]Louden[/name_m] and [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] are too similar to [name_m]Boden[/name_m] to work extremely well as a sibset. With [name_m]Boden[/name_m], I really really really like [name_u]Rhys[/name_u]. I think they work perfectly because they’re stylistically similar but very different from each other in sound. I also really like [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], [name_m]Tabor[/name_m] and [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m] with [name_m]Boden[/name_m]. When I hear [name_m]Louden[/name_m] and [name_m]Boden[/name_m] or [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] and [name_m]Boden[/name_m], the names seem to lose their uniqueness because they’re so similar to each other. I think you could highlight each boy’s name separately if you use something different sounding from [name_m]Boden[/name_m]; that’s just my two cents though! Good luck naming your little guy!!!
I know a [name_m]Louden[/name_m], and I think it’s a darling name! However, I agree that [name_m]Louden[/name_m] and [name_m]Boden[/name_m] sound a bit similar.
[name_m]Boden[/name_m] and [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] sound amazing together.
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Louden[/name_m]
both choices are a bit similar to [name_m]Boden[/name_m]. My favorites from your list are [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m] and [name_u]Rhys[/name_u]. Especially love [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m] with [name_m]Boden[/name_m].
