Our baby girl was born yesterday on [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]'s [name_u]Day[/name_u]. We are at an impasse trying to finalize her name. Middle name for sure is [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]. Our last name is Eastern European, starts with a “Ch” sound, and is two syllables. Since she was born on [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]'s [name_u]Day[/name_u], now I’m second-guessing whether her name should have some love-associated theme or not.
Our daughter has dark brown hair and is fair-skinned if that helps inform the choice. She has a big brother named [name_m]Milo[/name_m]. Any input most welcome!

I wouldn’t start a new search for a [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] themed name unless you really don’t love any on your list as it would be like starting over, especially since you already have the mn chosen. But if…The one name with that theme that I love is [name_f]Valentina[/name_f], but I don’t care for the nicknames so would only suggest it as a third. My favourite is [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]. But really… use something you love. If you’ve already found something you really love you shouldn’t change it just because she was born on [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]'s day.
I think it is special enough that she has a birthday on [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]'s [name_u]Day[/name_u] (mine was so close and I always wished it was!). I think that an obvious [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] name might be a tad overkill. If you already had a top contender, I think you should stick with it!
I like [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] a lot! I think my favorite from your list is [name_f]Freya[/name_f]. Plus, I do believe [name_f]Freya[/name_f] was the Norse goddess of love, so it could be a subtle [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]'s reference.

I’d say go with [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]. [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] will sound lovely next to an [name_f]East[/name_f] European surname. I’m not fond of [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], of all the [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] names, it makes me think of [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] Ball, much prefer [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]. One of my daughters would have had [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] as a middle if she had been born two hours later, especially as it would have been a family tradition as my great great great grandfather was a [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u].
