Should our little bug turn out to be a girl, we are pretty settled on [name_f]Nora[/name_f]. But with our short hard sounding last name of C00k, we need something longer in the middle. Most other names I like also are 2 syllables and end in A and are too repetitive.
[name_f]Linnea[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f]
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
etc.
Looking for suggestions for a longer name that isn’t too frilly and doesn’t end in a. Go!

My First thought was [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] Cₒₒk; [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it’s too plain?
I don’t think you necessarily need a long name, just a middle name that doesn’t end in “a”

I’m a fan of [name_u]Jean[/name_u]. It’s as strong as [name_m]Both[/name_m] [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and cook, without having to worry about lengthiness.

Thanks for all the suggestions ladies…but I must have spent to much time lurking on this site. Nothing really knocking my socks off.
Names like [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] I find boring.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], [name_f]Jaqueline[/name_f], [name_f]CLementine[/name_f] etc. too over the top.
[name_f]Madelyn[/name_f], [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] etc far too dated for my style.
Suggestions that are headed in the right direction:
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] - so-so
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] - wish I liked it more
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]
