[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]! I know the sweetest little [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], and she’s made me totally fall in love with the name it’s versatile and sweet, with lots of great nickname possibilities (including [name_f]Nora[/name_f] herself of course!)
I think the benefit of [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as a standalone is that it doesn’t have a nicknamey feel like other nicknames. Either is a great choice. We considered both, but ended up having two boys.
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] !!!
I prefer [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] ‘Nora’. I don’t know… I personally wouldn’t mind to use more than one El-name in a sibset, I think [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] / [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] / [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] etc are totally cute and not strange at all. Not a similar pronunciation at all. Perhaps [name_f]Elena[/name_f] would be too close.
I think [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is a better choice. Not as common, could honour loved ones, and has a nickname option for [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and even [name_f]Ellie[/name_f].
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] comes with [name_f]Nora[/name_f] but [name_f]Nora[/name_f] doesn’t come with [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].
It is a very classic, sweet, strong and professional name
How about [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Raine[/name_u]?
Would Leonora/Lenora solve it? You could have a full name but still use another el name
