nora vs adley

Well we have now narrowed it down to two names

[name]Nora[/name] [name]Kay[/name] [name]Taylor[/name]

Is [name]Nora[/name] too popular and kinda blah with [name]Isaiah[/name]

Or

[name]Adley[/name] [name]Kay[/name] [name]Taylor[/name]

Does [name]Adley[/name] sound too much like a boys name and do you think alot of people would call her addy? Her brother is [name]Isaiah[/name]. Thanks for the help

[name]Nora[/name] gets my vote. When I see [name]Adley[/name] I think of [name]Hadley[/name] missing the H or [name]Bradley[/name] missing the Br…just seems incomplete/made up and reminds me of [name]Ayla[/name]. It also just feels like a way to get to the popular [name]Addie[/name] with a less-popular full name? [name]Nora[/name] is on the rise, but it’s really pretty, simple, nice, & sounds great with [name]Isaiah[/name]. Maybe you would like: [name]Lana[/name], [name]Nina[/name], [name]Honora[/name], [name]Hadley[/name], [name]Aurora[/name], [name]Flora[/name], [name]Laurel[/name], [name]Theodora[/name]?

I love [name]Nora[/name]. It was on our short-list, but never got used (although we were going to spell it [name]Norah[/name]). I don’t think it’s blah at all and I love it with [name]Isaiah[/name]. I like it a bazillion times more than [name]Adley[/name]. [name]Nora[/name] is strong, beautiful and feminine. I find [name]Adley[/name] to be completely different than [name]Isaiah[/name]. It sounds gender-neutral, made-up and trendy. [name]Hope[/name] that’s not too harsh!

Good luck!

I love love love [name]Nora[/name], it is so beautiful. I like it much better than [name]Adley[/name].

I love [name]Nora[/name] too! Can’t use it myself becuase last name contains lots of Os and Rs, but otherwise would!

Yes, I think [name]Adley[/name] is a little gender neutral sounding. I also think that the nickname of [name]Addy[/name] would occur. L’s can be difficult to pronounce for some kids when starting to speak, so I could see [name]Addy[/name] being a nickname. Not a bad nickname in my opinion.

[name]Nora[/name] isn’t blah at all to me, [name]Nora[/name] and [name]Isaiah[/name] sound like a sweet pair. I like the soft -ah at the end of each of them.

Best wishes!

I guess blah wasn’t a good word to use. Haa I obviously love it maybe the word i should have used is predictable? Now that it is popular? [name]Adley[/name] we actually just saw on a show and to us in sounded older but a twist to the normal addison. I appreciate all the suggestion and none are too harsh. Naming a second child is alot harder then I had every imagined.

[name]Nora[/name] definitely gets my vote. It’s lovely!
[name]Adley[/name] seems like a ‘nothing’ type of name to me… no real substance there.

I much prefer [name]Nora[/name]!

I think most people are going to say [name]Nora[/name], I’ve seen it a lot on here. But I actually prefer [name]Adley[/name], I think [name]Adley[/name] and [name]Isaiah[/name] sounds much better together.

[name]Nora[/name] is definitely my favorite. [name]Adley[/name] is blah to me and would most likely be lost in a sea of similar trendley names. [name]Isaiah[/name] and [name]Nora[/name] have similar styles and sound very nice together.
