I am really not a fan, I’m afraid.
I find it very dated, but also, I immediately think to ‘[name_m]Harvey[/name_m] [name_m]Norman[/name_m]’ (prominent Australian retailer) as well as the [name_m]Norman[/name_m] ethnic group (Vikings who settled in [name_f]France[/name_f] - aka, ‘Northmen’) which I then associate with brutally violent & corrupt pirates…
I’m also not too keen on [name_m]Norman[/name_m]. It seems quite dated to me, and the closest association I have with the name is [name_m]Norman[/name_m] [name_m]Bates[/name_m] from Psycho, which isn’t great.
I don’t think it’s terrible but it does strike me as very dated. I don’t know a [name_m]Norman[/name_m] who’s under the age of 60.
I associate it with [name_m]Norman[/name_m] [name_m]Bates[/name_m] and [name_m]Norman[/name_m] Reedus (Walking Dead actor). Not really a fan of the name. I find it dated and I dont particularly like the sound of [name_m]Norman[/name_m].
I think it’s so outdated it seems cool… Kind of clunky chic… I would love to meet a young [name_m]Norman[/name_m] on the playground.
I associate it with [name_m]Norman[/name_m] [name_m]Rockwell[/name_m] so it has a very cozy feel to me.
I think it’s adorable. I’m Scandinavian so I might have different associations, but I really like [name_m]Norman[/name_m].
[name_m]Norman[/name_m] is nice. I would not use it myself, but that’s only because I have this silly association with The Kinks Present a Soap [name_f]Opera[/name_f]. And [name_m]Norman[/name_m] [name_m]Rockwell[/name_m], but that’s a good one.
Not a fan of [name_m]Norman[/name_m]. You might like:

A year ago, I would have said yuck, too dated and clunky. And then I met a sweet, 4-year-old [name_m]Norman[/name_m]! It suits him wonderfully, and that has really turned this name around for me. Now it fits right in with [name_m]Walter[/name_m], [name_u]Murray[/name_u], and [name_m]Clarence[/name_m] to my ear - old-man chic, sure, but totally wearable on the playground.
Like previous posters, my first thought was [name_m]Norman[/name_m] [name_m]Bates[/name_m], which isn’t a great association. It’s a [name_m]LITTLE[/name_m] too dated for my taste but I do think it’s sort of on the cusp of being a cool “Old [name_m]Man[/name_m]” baby name so it could potentially work. I think it would make an awesome name for a cat, and I tend to think dated names would make cool pet names a ~5 years earlier than I think they could work on humans.
Its not my fave. A similar style name but way funkier would maybe be [name_m]Truman[/name_m]?
