Norse myth pronunciation help

My husband and I are both very interested in mythology and I stumbled upon the name Noss. She is the daughter of [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and it means treasure. I love the name and we are looking to use it if we can find the correct pronunciation. So is it Noss or Nah-ss?

No, as far I know, Gersemi means treasure. Gersemi is daughter of [name_f]Freya[/name_f].

The chapter adds that not only was Freyja very clever, but that she and her husband Óðr had two immensely beautiful daughters, Gersemi and Hnoss, “who gave their names to our most precious possessions.”[31]

In Norse mythology, Gersemi (Old Norse “treasure”[1]) is the daughter of Freyja and Óðr, and sister of Hnoss.

In Norse mythology, Hnoss (Old Norse “treasure”[1]) is the daughter of Freyja and Óðr, and the almost identical sister of Gersemi. She is the goddess of desire and lust. In Gylfaginning it says, “She is so lovely that whatever is beautiful and valuable is called treasure from her name.” Some have even translated her name as “jewel” or “gem”.

I stand corrected, slightly.

I saw in D’aulaires book of Norse Mythology. A classic. Anyway I’m not hung up on the meaning. My question was regarding the pronunciation.
