Reminds me the Kardashians… They are not a good reference to me. But why not, if you like it!

I like it a lot, but wouldn’t use it as a first name–would be much better in a middle spot, [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. (You could also dodge any Kardashian connection this way.)

I always thought [name_u]North[/name_u] is more usable as a boys name but in general I’m not a huge fan of the name in the first place.

Before Kimye, I always assumed it WAS a boy’s name. Now, it’s a little tied to their baby and it wouldn’t surprise me if [name_u]Kim[/name_u] has already tried to brand it.

I don’t even think of Kimye unless it’s followed by [name_u]West[/name_u]. I like it.

People over 27 will likely see it as a boy name because we watched [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Wood[/name_m]'s movie [name_u]North[/name_u] when we were little. It was years later before I learned his real name; I just knew him as [name_u]North[/name_u].

I also think of north as a boys name due to the aforementioned movie.

I’m over 27 but have never heard of that movie!

[name_m]Even[/name_m] with [name_u]Kim[/name_u] and [name_m]Kanye[/name_m] naming their daughter [name_u]North[/name_u], I still feel like it’s a boys name.

I like it. But be prepared for everyone to assume that you are a Kardashian fan.
