What does everyone think of the Norwegian boys name [name]Hall[/name]ë? ‘hallie’. I quite like how it sounds and the nickname [name]Hal[/name]. I know most people would think of it as a girls name because of [name]Halle[/name] [name]Berry[/name] but that sort of thing doesn’t bother me.
Is it really pronounced like Ms. [name]Berry[/name]'s name? Although I like the sound, in the States at least I would find that difficult on a boy potentially. But I always thought it was pronounced more like hall (the word) + eh/ih. [name]Hall[/name]-ih. Sort of more with the ending rhyming with [name]Ole[/name]. Almost like [name]Hollis[/name] realy, just minus the s. That I really like (and I also really like [name]Hollis[/name]).
It’s pronounced hah-leh (I’m half norwegian). I quite like it, I went to nursery with a [name]Halle[/name], he was pretty cute.
I’ll have to practice saying that, lol.
