I have not fallen in love with a boy name yet. I have two daughters [name]Ainsley[/name] and [name]Reagan[/name], which I adore! I want something different, maybe a bit celtic to match his siblings, but not too different that it seems like we are trying to hard. Please help me narrow my list:
I’m with you. I’m due in five weeks and have fallen out of love with all of my boy names also!!
From your list I like: [name]Ash[/name] & [name]Beckett[/name]
What do you think about [name]Rowan[/name]? It’s on our short list. Celtic sounding I find it a little feminine, but weirdly my husaband really likes it. I think it’s starting to grow on me. Good luck!
Here are my opinions on your boys name list and some suggestions. There has to be one name that you can fall in love with for [name]Ainsley[/name] and [name]Reagan[/name]'s sibling. All the best!
[name]Harrison[/name] ([name]Harry[/name], for short) - Very distinguished but kind of rhymes with [name]Reagan[/name]
[name]Eli[/name] - I love this Biblical name but it seems so different in style with your two girls name that I’m going to pass Try [name]Elliott[/name] or [name]Ellis[/name].
[name]Beckett[/name] - I’m one of the few on Nameberry who can’t stand this trendy name. It would go well with [name]Ainsley[/name] and [name]Reagan[/name] but beware of the increase in popularity. When celebrities start choosing a name, watch out! I like [name]Bennett[/name], [name]Everett[/name] or [name]Garrett[/name] much better and all three would go well with your girls.
[name]Asher[/name] - This is ok but I wouldn’t choose another name beginning with “a”
[name]Rhys[/name] - I like this name but again would avoid the same initial of [name]Reagan[/name]
[name]Alistair[/name] - See [name]Asher[/name]. Other Celtic options: [name]Campbell[/name], [name]Cashel[/name], [name]Colin[/name], [name]Torin[/name], [name]Vaughan[/name], [name]Owen[/name], [name]Malcolm[/name], [name]Griffin[/name], [name]Fergus[/name], [name]Cormac[/name], [name]Callum[/name], [name]Fraser[/name], [name]Maclean[/name], [name]Mannix[/name], [name]Lennox[/name], [name]Laird[/name]
[name]Jackson[/name] - Very trendy. Try [name]Jefferson[/name], [name]Barron[/name], [name]Garrison[/name], [name]Byron[/name], [name]Kenyon[/name], [name]Edison[/name], [name]Quentin[/name], [name]Whitman[/name], [name]Walton[/name], [name]Rowland[/name]
[name]Lachlan[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this name but it does share the same ending with [name]Reagan[/name].
[name]Ryder[/name] - Too trendy. [name]How[/name] about [name]Calder[/name], [name]Cooper[/name], [name]Sawyer[/name], [name]Faulkner[/name], [name]Miller[/name], [name]Mercer[/name], [name]Spencer[/name], [name]Porter[/name]
[name]Gunnar[/name] - Scandinavian/[name]German[/name] name but very violent in sound to me. [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Magnus[/name], [name]Odin[/name] or [name]Soren[/name]?
[name]Ronin[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it spelled [name]Ronan[/name] but [name]Reagan[/name] and [name]Ronan[/name] are too matchy.
[name]Maverick[/name] - Gosh, definitely no! Try [name]Maxwell[/name], [name]Hayes[/name], [name]Quinn[/name], [name]Tate[/name] or [name]Pierce[/name].
[name]Hudson[/name] - OK but not great. See [name]Jackson[/name] for other options.
[name]Ainsley[/name], [name]Reagan[/name], and [name]Beckett[/name]
[name]Ainsley[/name], [name]Reagan[/name], and [name]Gunnar[/name]
[name]Ainsley[/name], [name]Reagan[/name], and [name]Maverick[/name]
Have you considered:
[name]Ainsley[/name], [name]Reagan[/name], and [name]Malcolm[/name]
[name]Ainsley[/name], [name]Reagan[/name], and [name]Owen[/name]
[name]Ainsley[/name], [name]Reagan[/name], and [name]Desmond[/name]
Another vote for [name]Beckett[/name] here and I don’t usually like ‘surname names’ but it just fits perfectly with your other two. Someone else’s suggestion of [name]Campbell[/name] caught my eye too.
