Not loving any of our names

I’m almost 6 months along, and while I LIKE all of the names my husband and I have narrowed down, I don’t [name]LOVE[/name] any of them. Anyone else have this problem? I’m worried that once the baby actually arrives, we’ll be paralyzed with indecision!

For what it’s worth, here is our list:

[name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Katherine[/name] (neither one of us really is crazy about [name]Katherine[/name], but we both love the nickname “[name]Kit[/name]”)
[name]Robin[/name]
[name]Arianne[/name]
[name]Vivian[/name]

Our last name starts with L and is single syllable, so most L names like [name]Lucy[/name] or [name]Lillian[/name] (a family name) are out.

I have the same problem - we easily settled on a name for our first that we both loved, but are now trying to choose a name for #2. Several good options that would be ok, but nothing seems to stand out as The One! It is so hard to find a full name you both love that also has a great nickname too.

Maybe if you both love the nickname [name]Kit[/name] and thats what you would most often call her then [name]Katherine[/name]/[name]Kit[/name] is the one to go with?

I love the name [name]Kit[/name] too and I think you could use it for a nickname for [name]Caroline[/name] too if you like that better than [name]Katherine[/name].

I know what you mean. Our boy was [name]Vince[/name] from the get-go, this has been tough (just check out any of my posts). I actually thought I would cry at some point cuz I wanted to be settled on a name! Ugh, craziness!
One of my BFs chose [name]Katherine[/name] nn [name]Kit[/name] and I [name]LOVE[/name] it. One of those “Wish I’d thought of that!” [name]Katherine[/name] is just beautiful & classic and [name]Kit[/name] is one of the best NNs. Like another poster suggested, maybe a variation of [name]Katherine[/name] could give you more options. Though sometimes I think it’s just tough finally finding that name. You really can’t go wrong with your current list, though. Good luck!
