But yes, [name_m]Wulf[/name_m] may be considered as a “butchered” spelling, and if you aren’t going to use [name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m] as a full name, then I think [name_m]Wolfe[/name_m] would be the best and least confusing route : ) As for Wilhelmus, that is wonderful too, and it can always be shortened to [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] (if you don’t mind far-fetched NN’s), or as another poster suggested, Wilhelmus Ludolf, which I think is great!
