[name]Just[/name] wanted to announce that our sixth child has arrived!
We had a very difficult time naming him, but eventually decided on [name]Jude[/name] [name]Rafferty[/name].
He didn’t look like a [name]Leo[/name] at all, so that ruled out our top name, [name]Leopold[/name] [name]Rex[/name]. We were then going to go with [name]Julian[/name] [name]Rufus[/name], nickname [name]Jude[/name], but saw that just plain [name]Jude[/name] was far less popular than [name]Julian[/name], and decided that we like [name]Jude[/name] better than [name]Julian[/name] as well. [name]Rafferty[/name] is a name [name]Ralph[/name] and I have loved for ages but we couldn’t use it until now, which is so great. [name]Jude[/name] [name]Rafferty[/name] suits the baby perfectly.
There is one small issue with his name, brought to our attention by my sister: the celebrity [name]Jude[/name] [name]Law[/name]'s son is named [name]Rafferty[/name]. But I don’t follow celebrities and I hope this won’t be a problem at all. Oh well. We love [name]Jude[/name]'s name.
My eldest son, [name]Felix[/name], is singing Hey [name]Jude[/name] with his guitar to baby [name]Jude[/name] right now and it is the sweetest thing I have ever seen. [name]Ned[/name], my three-year-old, is calling him Juju and it’s catching on with the rest of the kids. [name]Ralph[/name] wants to nickname the baby [name]JR[/name], but I think Juju is the winner there.
Since [name]Linda[/name] wants us to put what country we’re from, I’ll add that my husband is British, I’m American, and the kids are dual citizens. We spend the school year in the US and every summer in the UK (well, not this summer, because of [name]Jude[/name]).
Oh wow, congrats on the birth of your sixth child, [name]Jude[/name] [name]Rafferty[/name]! I love his cool and spunky name with his siblings [name]Felix[/name] [name]Lysander[/name], [name]Olive[/name] [name]Matilda[/name], [name]Maeve[/name] [name]Tallulah[/name], [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Blair[/name] ([name]Sunny[/name]) and [name]Edward[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] ([name]Ned[/name]). I wish I could see [name]Felix[/name] singing “Hey [name]Jude[/name]” to him! :lol: Juju is just too cute by far! All the best to you and your family, [name]Mischa[/name].
Oh, the picture in my mind of your [name]Felix[/name] singing to little [name]Jude[/name] just makes me teary. That’s so sweet! Congratulations on number 6! And what a fabulous name! (I wouldn’t worry about the [name]Jude[/name] [name]Law[/name]'s son thing, I doubt many people know that)

FYI, [name]Rafferty[/name] [name]Law[/name] was born in 1996 and has never gotten much publicity, so I certainly wouldn’t worry about that!
