@GenevieveReine and I are very excited to announce the arrival of [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u]! [name_f]Juno[/name_f] will be joining [name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_m]Alastar[/name_m] [name_u]Wilde[/name_u] and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Geneva[/name_f]!
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] was just a name we both liked and we were initially thinking about [name_f]Una[/name_f] or [name_f]Isolde[/name_f] but once we came up with her middle names we decided to use [name_f]Juno[/name_f]! We are both very happy with her name.
[name_f]Welcome[/name_f] to the world [name_f]Juno[/name_f]
@rubyimogen and I are so excited to announce the arrival of our daughter [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_u]Storm[/name_u]. Nora’s name came along quite quickly, which made this naming process much less hectic .
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] is welcomed by older half-siblings [name_u]Blue[/name_u] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_u]Tatum[/name_u], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] Blue-Moon, [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Thalia[/name_f] Wrenne, [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_u]Briar[/name_u] Ned” & [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Wilde[/name_u] “Nell,” [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Geneva[/name_f], and [name_f]Eliska[/name_f] [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f].
@cadhlamarie95 and I are pleased to welcome our twins, [name_u]Rene[/name_u] [name_m]Wilbur[/name_m] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]! I had [name_u]Rene[/name_u] on my list and Cadhla had had [name_m]Wilbur[/name_m] on theirs so we put them together! I suggested [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] for our girls middle for the Charlottes web connection with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_m]Wilbur[/name_m], and then Cadhla suggested [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and we both liked it! They join half siblings [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Bronte[/name_f], [name_f]Amabel[/name_f] [name_f]Estella[/name_f] [name_f]Crystal[/name_f] [name_f]Caitríona[/name_f], [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Cian[/name_m], and [name_m]Oran[/name_m] [name_u]Arthur[/name_u] [name_m]Aldric[/name_m].
@EmilyMcA and I are happy to announce the birth of our little boy, [name_u]Freddy[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]! He joins half siblings [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Marius[/name_m].
We both love all three names and [name_m]Richard[/name_m] also honours my grandfather, so I think we’re both very happy with the final decision
@krijesnica and I are happy to announce [name_m]Simeon[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u] Borna!
[name_m]Simeon[/name_m] joins half-siblings [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Marcel[/name_m] and [name_m]Teobaldo[/name_m] [name_m]Eugen[/name_m] [name_m]Vid[/name_m], so we wanted a first name that bridged the familiarity gap between [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and Baldo. [name_u]August[/name_u] has personal meaning for me, and Borna is a name from Elena’s culture. We love his name!
@hannahwren Hannah and I are both thrilled and overjoyed to announce the names of our children. We first welcomed our twins,
Sophie Eleanor Jane and Duncan Peter John
The meaning behind Sophie & Duncan's names:
Sophie was a favourite name on my list that although it wasn’t on Hannah’s, she immediately fell in love with! Sophie’s first middle name is Eleanor after myself and a name that Hannah has loved forever. Not to mention a wonderful tribute to Hannah’s Great Gran who also shares the name. Jane as her second middle makes Sophie the third generation of girls in my family with the middle name of Jane and for Hannah, she has always liked it.
Duncan was chosen for his sweet sound and the connection to Shakespeare. Something both myself and Hannah share a love of. His first middle name is Peter, a handsome tribute to my Grandfather. Peter is a name steeped in history and Saint Peter makes a wonderful nod to Hannah’s Catholic faith. His second middle name of John was just so fitting for both of us to use. It is a name that spans four generations of Hannah’s family and is a direct honour of both my father and other Grandfather.
Then to add to our growing family, our little girl,
Ottilie Georgina Rachel
The meaning behind Ottilie's names:
Ottilie was a name that was on both of our lists although it took a while to realise despite our joint rapturous love for her! Ottilie’s first middle name of Georgina was chosen as a way to honor the name George, an important family name for Hannah and a way to honor her own mother. Rachel was on my list for first names and Hannah had Rae on her list for middles. So we compromised by using Rachel as it was a name we both just really loved next to Ottilie and Georgina. Although Ottilie is her given name, we plan to call her Ottie and Otter. Such sweet names for our sweet girl!
Sophie, Duncan & Ottilie are our perfect little sibset and we are utterly in love with their names
@rubyimogen and i would like to welcome our sweet Aurora Blue-Moon to the world!
she joins half brothers Luca Tobias Eden, Theodore Felix Solomon and half sisters Amabel Estella Crystal Caitríona, Blue Aurelia Tatum & Ivy Thalia Wrenne!
we decided to go with a nature theme & Aurora came pretty easily to us as the first name, i liked Blue as a middle and they liked Moon, so we decided to put them together! Aurora Blue-Moon✨
@sgsg8 and I are proud to announce the arrival of our darling baby girl [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] will join [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_u]Freddy[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m], [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] & [name_f]Adora[/name_f] [name_f]Pallas[/name_f] [name_u]Nightingale[/name_u] [name_f]Marijke[/name_f] [name_f]Glory[/name_f]!
@A.B.Galaxy and I would like to introduce [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] “Ace” [name_m]Marcus[/name_m]! We have a mutual interest for [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], and [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] is in my partner’s list of favorite middles. We decided on [name_u]Ace[/name_u] as a nickname upon my partner mentioning it (and myself not even thinking about it) after we both suggested some.
@Lindseylloyd052399 and I would like to welcome [name_f]Posie[/name_f] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]! She joins half siblings [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Bronte[/name_f], [name_u]Rene[/name_u] [name_m]Wilbur[/name_m], and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
@Kirsten_Leotie and I are thrilled to welcome our son, [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] [name_m]Jonas[/name_m] Addams! We quickly agreed on this name, coming from favourites of each other’s lists!
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] will join his half-sister, [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. [name_f]Welcome[/name_f] to the world, [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]!
@decembersmoon and I would like to introduce our son [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]. [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] is a name we both loved and the name we will call him by. [name_u]James[/name_u] is from my list and honors my family. [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] is from @decembersmoon’s list and is a softer name that balances out the first two names.
@futuremama and I went with [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Willoughby[/name_u] Mir!
[name_u]August[/name_u] was on both of our lists and we used [name_u]Willoughby[/name_u] as an alternative to [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u], which was a bit too wordy for me with [name_u]August[/name_u] (though certainly a lovely combo for other people). For a second middle name, we were looking for something short & unexpected and eventually landed on Mir, whose sounds compliment the other two names and which has a lovely meaning!
While I did not consider their names in this process, I actually really love the imaginary sibling set I currently have:
[name_u]August[/name_u], [name_f]Lola[/name_f] & [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
