On its own merit [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Joy[/name] is my fave but I think it kinda blends in with [name]Serena[/name].
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is really gorgeous but [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Joy[/name] got my vote. It’s just too distinctive and joyful.
I voted [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Joy[/name]… I love nn [name]Sunny[/name]… And [name]Sunny[/name]-joy is so cute!! [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Joy[/name] nn [name]Posey[/name] would be second choice!
Thank you all so much for your input and thoughts! It looks like for us it is between [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Josephine[/name]. I love [name]Susannah[/name], but hubby never has truly loved it (I went through this with him for 9 months about a year ago ), and we are heavy on the S names right now…
[name]Anna[/name] is a tried and true classic in my book and I love her Biblical connections… but she is heard a lot where we live… she sounds great with our last name, which ends “ada” prn. “ah, da”.
[name]Josephine[/name] is just stunning to me… a true gem, that is never heard around here…and directly honors hubby…
Now, just to find out if baby is a girl or a boy (according to my OB,in about 5 weeks he should be able to tell) As soon as we know, I will share
Sounds like [name]Josephine[/name] has your heart. Considering that [name]Josephine[/name] is the female form of [name]Joseph[/name] she is quite Biblical as well.
[name]Josephine[/name] goes so nicely with your last name, in my opinion! And other nn options are [name]Josie[/name] and [name]Joey[/name] - how cute!
I just had another idea - how about combining the two names you love: [name]Anna Josephine[/name], nn [name]Anna-Jo[/name]?
Funny, my 8 month old is named [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Olivia[/name] and last name begins with Y, so her initials spell [name]JOY[/name]. It was totally unintentional as both her first and MN honor people and we didn’t select them until she was born. [name]Happy[/name] accident! I’m totally smitten with her name!
OK, that’s what I get for voting before reading the thread. [name]Josephine[/name] and [name]Susannah[/name] are two of my personal favorites so I was torn. I picked [name]Susannah[/name] but if that’s out, [name]Josephine[/name] over [name]Anna[/name] by a mile.
[name]Pam[/name], thank you for your reply… I would love to know if you feel another S name is just too much?? My youngest (they are very close in age ) are [name]Sophie[/name]-[name]Claire[/name], [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] and [name]Serena[/name]… so I am wondering if [name]Susannah[/name] is just too much? She would not be the only non “s” sibling, my other girls are; [name]Maggie[/name], [name]Kelsey[/name]-[name]Rose[/name], [name]Emma[/name] and [name]Mary[/name]-[name]Elizabeth[/name]
I voted for [name]Anna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] because that’s more my style and I think it is simply stunning. [name]Anna[/name] is so beautiful and classic and strong and I [name]LOVE[/name] the Biblical connection. [name]Anna[/name] is one of my favorite Biblical women. [name]Josephine[/name] is a favorite on here that has yet to win my heart, but it is lovely and it does kind of seem to me like you like it more, so that may be the right choice.
I was going to vote for [name]Susannah[/name] but noticed you have lots of S names already. So I voted for [name]Anna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] which is precious!
I voted for [name]Anna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] which I think sounds beautiful, [name]Josephine[/name] is one of my favourite names though so I love that too. [name]Susannah[/name] is also very beautiful but I think since you already have so many S names already in succession, I think it might be a bit much.
