[name]Odele[/name].
Thoughts? Its a new name I am considering (gender of my baby is a surprise).
It means “song” - we are huge music fans. I think it is different and pretty. It could be spelled [name]Odelle[/name] or [name]Odele[/name] (I prefer one “l”).
Middle name will be [name]Kathleen[/name]. Last name sounds like Hennessey.
[name]Odele[/name] [name]Kathleen[/name] Hennessey. Siblings are [name]Lachlan[/name] and [name]Vito[/name].
Honestly, I find it really unappealing. It makes me think of the last name O’[name]Dell[/name], also the word ‘odor’. I can’t seem to find anything saying it’s a real name… in what language does it mean ‘song’? [name]Adele[/name] or [name]Adela[/name] is gorgeous, though. [name]Odelia[/name]/[name]Odilia[/name]/[name]Ottilie[/name] could be other options.
Other names meaning ‘song’, or ones generally musical:
I find [name]Adele[/name] infinitely more attractive than [name]Odele[/name]. Like Irisrose, it makes me think of O’dell and Odor. But it’s just a personal preference.
I like it. I can see what the others mean when they say that it reminds them of O’[name]Dell[/name] or odor, but I disagree. It made me think of [name]Odile[/name] from Swan [name]Lake[/name] (not a great person to think of, but classy at the very least? She IS a character in a ballet). I prefer [name]Adele[/name], but [name]Odele[/name] is quite pretty as well. Good luck!
I personally prefer either [name]Adele[/name] or [name]Odelia[/name], but if [name]Odele[/name] is what you love then I think you should use it. [name]Odele[/name] [name]Kathleen[/name] is a fine name.
