Of the..?

This is just for fun as I’m not expecting but I have a little challenge for you Berries!

My moms name is [name]Cynthia[/name] which I’ve seen mean “goddess of the moon”
&
My name is [name]Marissa[/name] which is “of the sea”

So I thought it would be kind of neat if I could find a girls name I like that means of the something also.

thanks in advance!

I think [name]Layla[/name] means “Of the night”.

[name]Layla[/name] is nice, but I don’t love it. but thanks for the answer!

[name]Astra[/name] means ‘of the stars’

[name]Kendra[/name] means “born of fire”?

It comes from [name]Kenneth[/name], which comes from Cinaed…

Use the Super Search for girls names and put “of the” into the meaning field. It came back with 96 results.

[name]Avery[/name] - ruler of the elves
[name]Juno[/name] - queen of the heavens
[name]Nuria[/name] - fire of the lord
[name]Rayna[/name] - song of the lord
Miora - star of the sea

ok… this isn’t quite an “of the” answer, but how about [name]Marina[/name] [name]Selene[/name]
[name]Marina[/name]: of the sea
[name]Selene[/name]: of the moon

 I did the Super Search as the pp suggested and my favourite on the list is [name]Elidi[/name] meaning “gift of the sun” I like it for you since it is a reference to another celestial body to go along with your Mom’s name.
There’s also [name]Celeste[/name] “of the sky” -which is along the same theme
