I don’t think [name_u]Max[/name_u] or [name_u]Parker[/name_u] are in any way offbeat or quirky. I don’t think I would call any of the names on your list quirky, honestly. [name_m]Kurt[/name_m], [name_m]Otis[/name_m], and [name_m]Monty[/name_m] are a bit offbeat/uncommon. Of the names that actually seem offbeat to me, [name_m]Kurt[/name_m] is my favorite.

I don’t really think of Max, Kurt, or Parker as all that offbeat. They’re pretty run of the mill, but certainly not bad! Max is the best of these for me.
I have no idea why but Otis very much gives me a country/Southwestern vibe? It certainly fits the bill for quirky but not cringey though.
