Oh sweet Faye!

Currently loving Faye!! Faela is also gorgeous :fairy:

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it’s too simple or is it a good stand alone?

How would you make it more unique? Such as changing spelling, making it longer or smushing it together with another name?

Lastly, pair [name_f]Faye[/name_f] with a middle name!!

Can’t wait to hear, thanks!

I love [name_f]Faye[/name_f]! So soft and sweet with a hint of the magical. I know a couple of Fayes and they wear it beautifully; I’ve never felt it to be insubstantial - plenty of one syllable names (Eve, [name_u]Rose[/name_u], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], etc.) are familiar favourites. I don’t think there’s any need whatsoever to make it more unique! A few combinations that sprang to mind are [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] or (maybe my favourite) [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. It’s a beautiful name and I’m so glad someone else likes it! :star2:

I love [name_f]Faye[/name_f] so much! She definitely stands on her own.

I’ve never thought of Faela/Fayla- it works but I do just prefer [name_f]Faye[/name_f]!

I love [name_f]Faye[/name_f] on its own (like [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_u]Rose[/name_u] etc as pp said) but two of my other [name_f]Faye[/name_f] names are [name_f]Faline[/name_f] (which is l more Fuh-leen than Faye-line) but you could still use [name_f]Faye[/name_f] as a nn. (I’d say to change it to [name_f]Fayline[/name_f] but then you’re getting awfully close to “failing”.)

Otherwise, Fayra - it’s an invented mane from [name_f]Faye[/name_f] (or from Fira or Fiera) which usually isn’t my thing but I really like Fayra! :woman_fairy:t2:

Middles:

[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] Celeste/Celestine
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] Mirabel(la)
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Clothilde[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_u]Harlow[/name_u]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Summer[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Temperance[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_u]Romilly[/name_u]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Bryony[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Mariella[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f]

[name_f]Faye[/name_f] is gentle, bright and sweet - it has an airy quality while feeling solid and established too! I think it’s a good stand alone

I like the spelling [name_f]Fae[/name_f] too!

If I had to make it more unique, I’d consider:

[name_u]Phaedra[/name_u]
[name_f]Ferelith[/name_f] ‘Fey’
Faithlyn ‘Fay’

Some combos:

[name_f]Leonie[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_u]Kerrigan[/name_u] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Ceridwen[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]

[name_f]Faye[/name_f] is always amazing, never too simple!

[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Amber[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Julia[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Faye[/name_f]! It’s so old Hollywood yet quirky to me. I like it as a stand alone.

I love [name_f]Faye[/name_f] by itself! I think it stands alone just fine. The [name_f]Fay[/name_f] and [name_f]Fae[/name_f] spellings feel a little bit more mystical but I prefer the solid, classic [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. I also have [name_u]Phaedra[/name_u] on my list as a long form.
I’d maybe pair it with:
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Paloma[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Karolina[/name_f]

[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] - although short this is a name that comes out meaning ‘compassionate fairy friend’, which I think is really cute.

I think [name_f]Faye[/name_f] is super sweet, I also called someone named [name_u]Fei[/name_u] a while ago and thought that was really cute too!
