I say [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f], simply because [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is a no-no for me, I (and everyone else I speak to) automatically associate it with the word ‘molest’. So, I could never use it!
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] is lovely, and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] has a nice flow. I think the soft C sound of [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] after the S of [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] is also a bit of a mouthful to say too.
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]. Although I love [name_f]Swan[/name_f] [name_u]Lake[/name_u], [name_f]Odette[/name_f] has never been a name that appealed to me.
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f]! I love her. So chic and sweet and [name_m]French[/name_m]-ish. [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is nice, but I’ve long had a love affair with [name_f]Odette[/name_f].
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f]. I tried saying [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] out loud several times and I seemed to stumble over it each time. They have very similar sounding beginnings and don’t really sound the best together. [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] is gorgeous, though!
I would pick [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] because the S in [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] and the C in [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] are very similar sounds and sometimes becomes very difficult to say. Both are very beautiful though!
I generally love [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] and the comment about it rhyming with molest is not something I would be concerned about. I would be concerned about someone who hears the name [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] and then has ‘molest’ as their next thought. Creepy.
Anyhow, in this instance, I vote Slyvia [name_f]Odette[/name_f] because I think they ‘flow’ better together. Best of luck.
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is stunning!
I would definitely say [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] goes best with [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], it has a nice sound when you say it.
